SUSTAINABILITY

A sustainable life style is the truest form of independence. It is available on all levels of skill, location, and finance; living sustainably is often times more affordable and an excellent choice for those who are budget conscious.

Sustainability doesn’t have to mean “off the grid” however. Sustainability is all about living a mindful life, knowing where your food comes from and how it gets there, making green choices, and growing and building for yourself what others opt to buy.

I also believe that sustainability means community. Knowing your strengths and not trying to do it all is the most important part, maybe you’re not great at gardening but you sure know how to cook, a skill in processing the food is just as important as a skill in growing it.
